It’s done! The contract was signed and a welcome received from the Commissioning Editor of the publisher. One of the good benefits of this contract is that I can spread the cost of ‘my share’ over several months while they continue to work on my manuscript.

So, I read the offer carefully and it seems to be legit. I.e. not a scam or worse! I have replied positively and requested a copy of a sample contract to see what is involved and ‘how it works’. Let’s see how fast that contract is sent!
