Just got my revised paragraphs back from my overseas friend, who reviewed that vacation text. All is now good, thankfully.
This has got me thinking, actually. It’s a crime drama – crime fiction genre. I have several friends who are in or were in, the police. Maybe time to run a few paragraphs past them? I know nothing directly about the force – only what I have read up on during my research, and what I have seen in movies and dramas – and how accurate IS that!!?
