After what seemed like an eternity of research I have at last put pen to paper, metaphorically, and started on my 3rd manuscript – The Botanist’s Wife.
This title leapfrogged my previous selection to come after ‘The Help’ as the idea for it was so strong and I wrote several pages of outline notes – the storyline was vivid and fresh in my head and it was obvious I was enthusiastic about it.
So it came to pass. I researched long and hard, and I will have to continue that, But I have now written over 1,200 words for this, the third novel in the DI Graham Tonnicj series.
Well.. it gives me something to do here in summer during the monsoon season!
That’s exciting progress on your third manuscript! The Botanist’s Wife sounds like a compelling addition to the DI Graham Tonnicj series. Your enthusiasm for the storyline really shines through in your words. It’s impressive how you’ve managed to write over 1,200 words already. How do you plan to weave the monsoon season into the narrative?
Hi there, ?? lol can’t work out your name, but no worries! (some like anonimity!)
Thanks for the kind words.
I am hoping The Botanist’s Wife is exactly that – compelling. Now I have the basic main character detailed it is a little easier to develop new storylines / novels.
I’m over 4,000 words, now!
Cheers
