This morning my thoughts turned to the next book. OMG! This cannot be normal, can it!? I made a deal with myself that I would not try to write two books simultaneously.
But that does not stop me from jotting down a few notes on the desk pad.
One dilemma faced by writers, I think is, once they complete that first book, do they make the second book part of a series (pick up some already developed characters) or a new standalone? My second book idea ‘could’ be a continuation but right now I have conceived it as a completely separate manuscript.
